Hands 2 Heal is dedicated to providing free healthcare services and health education to underserved individuals and communities who face financial or access barriers. Guided by compassion and respect for human dignity, H2H promotes prevention, healing, and empowerment through accessible, community-centered care.
Our Story
Hands 2 Heal was founded by Arnav Nikam, a 15-year-old changemaker, inspired by a living legacy of compassion.

Growing up, Arnav heard countless stories from his father about his great-uncle, Dr. Nana Patil, a doctor in a small town in India who never turned a patient away. Dr. Patil believed that healthcare was a responsibility, not a privilege. Whether a patient could pay or not, he treated everyone with dignity, care, and respect.
Those stories planted a powerful idea.

Over the past three years, Arnav endured tremendous medical trauma of his own. Facing repeated procedures, uncertainty, and pain allowed him to experience healthcare from the patient’s side—opening his eyes to how vulnerable people become when they are sick and how life-changing access to care truly is.
That understanding turned inspiration into action.

Hands 2 Heal was created to bring together generations in service—combining Arnav’s vision with Dr. Nana Patil’s decades of medical experience. Today, Dr. Patil actively helps lead and support Hands 2 Heal’s medical camps, personally serving patients and guiding the mission on the ground.

In a small town in India, Dr. Nana Baba devoted his life to healing those who had nowhere else to go. Whether a patient could pay or not, whether their condition was simple or severe, Dr. Nana Baba believed that every life deserved care, dignity, and hope.

Today, Hands 2 Heal carries forward his legacy. Through free medical camps and essential healthcare services, we reach families who would otherwise be left untreated—children, elders, and the most vulnerable. Every donation helps us place healing hands where they are needed most and ensures that Dr. Nana Baba’s compassion lives on through every life we touch.

Behind every medical camp and every patient served is a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes. Our U.S.-based team manages the planning, coordination, fundraising, compliance, and logistics that make Hands 2 Heal’s mission possible.
